About Me

Librarian turned front-end web developer

I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2010 with a Master of Information Studies, specializing in librarianship. After working for some time I wanted a chance to combine my love of finding and presenting information with a chance to be more creative. With a job ending and a HackerYou cohort beginning, it seemed like a chance to pursue another longtime passion, coding, by attending the full-time front end bootcamp at HackerYou. Since the bootcamp I have been working as a web developer at a business to business marketing agency, building client websites and business tools from both a front-end and back-end perspective.
